My heart for this group developed from my passion for equipping young women with the tools to be empowered, loving, whole individuals.

I grew up watching a generation of women who did not have to utter a word about how they should be respected, because their character, poise, and demeanor demanded it. That’s the type of woman I aspire to be and surround myself with. BOLD serves not only as a space to share and be encouraged, but also as a place that promotes sisterhood and bonding among like-minded women from all walks of life.

Simply stated, a BOLD Woman is a Beautiful Outstanding Lady of Destiny.  A BOLD Woman knows who she is in Christ and walks BOLDly in it.  She caries herself with class and does not stand for injustice. A BOLD Woman recognizes the BOLD Beaty inside others and encourages them to fully embrace her. She is aware of the work she still has to do along her growth journey, and embraces the process, along with her fellow BOLD Beauties.

My goal in participating in B.O.L.D. was to work on me in a safe space with women who share the same like minded goals. The goal of BOLD in my opinion is to motivate and inspire each other through insightful information. The session always provides me with valuable information that I can use in my everyday life. There have been so many great topics discussed, throughout the year I have been with BOLD. There are a few topics that have really changed my approach on handling certain things in my life in a more positive way. It's always great to fellowship with other women who maybe facing so of the same obstacles that I am facing.
