My passion for the arts is undeniable. I have been singing and dancing since I was a child, but my love for acting is no less. I began seriously pursuing acting after portraying Ruth in the AACPVAC production of “A Raisin in the Sun,” under the tutelage of Dr. Herman LeVern Jones. That production opened the door for me to participate in several theatre productions, musicals, television shows, and films, granting me the opportunity to work with great directors and other talented actors (as you can see on my resume).
I enjoy the process of acting; lending myself to the character to tell the story in a way that the audience understands, enjoys, and takes something with them when they leave. I like participating in funny, educational, encouraging, and uplifting productions, as well as those with compelling messages. Similarly, I love writing and performing songs that touch people in ways that make them feel.
